Variance is a simple utility that changes the desktop wallpaper on Windows XP at various time intervals. This is the first release, so there are sure to be bugs.

To use:

1. Download and unpack the archive to a folder (ie: C:\tools\variance).
2. Double click variance.exe and set your image directory, your desired time interval, and check the Start Variance when Windows starts checkbox.
3. Click Apply Changes and close the application.
4. Double click startup.exe, uncheck the Always ask before running this type of file checkbox if you get a security warning, and watch your desktop wallpaper change.
5. If you checked the Start Variance when Windows starts checkbox, it will run everytime you start your computer.
